Najia Anjum She/her
Najia is a Clinical Psychology Registrar and Registered Psychologist who is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults better understand themselves and navigate life's challenges in a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment.
Working across the lifespan, Najia supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, life transitions, relationship challenges, and adjustment concerns. She is particularly passionate about supporting individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities and provides therapy in English, Pashto, and Urdu.
Najia believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. She tailors treatment to each person's unique goals and draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies.
In addition to therapy, Najia provides comprehensive psychological, cognitive, and academic assessments, including intellectual and educational assessments such as the WISC and WIAT, to help identify learning profiles, cognitive strengths, and areas requiring support.
Najia's goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered to develop practical skills that lead to meaningful and lasting change.
