Michele is an AuDHD Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) and Senior Clinical Educator bringing 28 years of extensive experience to Wonderful Mind. Holding a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, her practice spans paediatric clinical care, clinician mentorship, and clinical governance all deeply rooted in her own lived experience as an AuDHDer and a neurodiversity-affirming framework.

By combining clinical expertise with personal lived experience, Michele offers a rare, authentic perspective that bridges professional practice and genuine empathy. At Wonderful Mind, her core supports include:

Family Support Consultations: Partnering directly with families to navigate neurodivergent communication styles, share lived insights, build everyday practical strategies, and cultivate supportive environments at home.
Comprehensive Assessments: Conducting neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based assessments to understand each individual’s functional communication profile and specific support needs without pathologizing differences.
Intervention Planning: Designing evidence-based, highly individualized intervention plans that emphasize functional, multimodal communication tools (AAC) and meaningful, real-world outcomes.

Student Coaching & Mentorship: Empowering neurodivergent students and learners to build self-advocacy skills, Executive Function strategies, and communication confidence, while also mentoring future clinicians through university placements to foster reflective practice and neuro-affirmative care.
