Eli Azar(she/her)

Occupational Therapist | MSc OT, PhD Candidate

Eli is an experienced Occupational Therapist with over a decade of clinical practice spanning paediatric rehabilitation, neurodevelopmental support, and mental health. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in Iran in 2014, followed by a Master of Science, and is currently pursuing her PhD in Occupational Therapy in Melbourne.

Since starting her career in 2014, Eli has supported children, adolescents, and adults with a diverse range of conditions—including autism, ADHD, learning disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. Her holistic approach covers comprehensive functional assessments, individualised intervention plans, targeted therapy, and active family consultation.

A Rich Foundation in Education and Specialized Care

Eli's clinical toolkit includes advanced training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), sensory integration, cognitive rehabilitation, play therapy, and transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS). Complementing her clinical work, she has served as a university lecturer and clinical educator, supervising occupational therapy students in psychiatric settings.

Approach to Therapy

Eli is passionate about delivering evidence-informed, person-centred, and collaborative care. She focuses on tailoring interventions to each client’s unique strengths and goals—empowering them to build independence, increase meaningful participation, and enhance their overall quality of life.
