Hamid Hajibabaie (He/his)

Hamid is a dedicated and compassionate mental health professional with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Iran. He brings over 12 years of experience to his practice, offering a safe and non-judgmental space for clients of all ages, including individuals and couples.

Hamid is currently registered as a Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) while he completes the required hours of practice in Australia for clinical psychology registration with AHPRA.

His expertise lies in helping clients navigate a wide range of challenges, including:

  • Emotional Regulation: Developing skills to manage and cope with difficult emotions.

  • Behavior Management: Addressing problematic behaviors and developing positive coping strategies.

  • Relational Conflicts: Improving communication and resolving conflict within relationships.

Hamid utilizes a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client's unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Reality Therapy, Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

He is passionate about empowering individuals to make meaningful changes in their lives and believes in the courage it takes to seek help. With empathy and professionalism, Hamid guides his clients on their journey of healing and self-discovery, helping them lead healthier and more fulfilling lives.

Areas of support

In addition to his work with adults and couples, Hamid is skilled in play therapy for children and applies Schema Therapy techniques to assist kids and youths. His approach is compassionate and effective, aimed at helping clients overcome mental health challenges, improve relationships, and achieve personal growth. Hamid provides services under NDIS, WorkCover, EAP, and private health insurance, ensuring that his support is accessible and customized to meet the diverse needs of his clients.
